1. Preparations before installation
First, get familiar with drawings. By looking at the drawings, you can understand important information such as the equipment structure, installation form, component composition and quantity, and performance parameters. Then familiarize yourself with important installation dimensions and technical requirements on the drawings. If there are no special installation requirements, the general technical requirements of the belt conveyor are:
(1) The centerline of the rack and the longitudinal centerline of the conveyor should coincide, and the deviation should not exceed 2mm.
(2) The straightness deviation of the centerline of the rack should not be greater than 5mm within any 25m length.
(3) The vertical deviation of the rack legs to the ground should not be greater than 2/1000.
(4) The allowable deviation of the distance between the intermediate frames is plus or minus 1.5mm, and the height difference should not be greater than 2/1000 of the distance.
(5) The horizontal centerline of the drum and the longitudinal centerline of the conveyor should coincide, and the deviation should not be greater than 2mm.
(6) The deviation of verticality between the axis of the roller and the longitudinal centerline of the conveyor should not be greater than 2/1000, and the deviation of horizontality should not be greater than 1/1000.
Equipment reversing work
During the construction period, a large amount of purchased equipment cannot be placed on the construction site. This requires picking out the equipment to be installed and marking it for hoisting. Before reversing, try to find all the equipment to be installed and used, and reload in place at one time, which not only saves the car shift costs, but also improves work efficiency. After the equipment is reversed and hoisted in place, the installation site must be surveyed to eliminate the adverse factors affecting the installation of the equipment.
2. Installation of equipment
Whether a belt conveyor can meet the design and installation requirements and can run normally and smoothly depends on the installation accuracy of the driving device, the drum and the tail wheel, and whether the center of the belt support bracket coincides with the center line of the driving device and the tail wheel. Pay-off is particularly important.
(1) Pay off
We can use theodolite to mark between the head (drive) and the tail (tail wheel), and then use the ink fountain to point the line point by point to make the center line between the head and the tail a straight line. The wire can guarantee higher installation accuracy.
(2) Installation of driving device
The driving device is mainly composed of a motor, a reducer, a driving roller, a bracket and the like.
First, we assembled and placed the drive roller and the bracket on the embedded plate, placed a steel pad between the embedded plate and the bracket, and leveled with a spirit level to ensure that the level between the four points of the bracket was less than or equal to 0.5mm.
Then, find the midpoint line of the driving roller, place the wire drop on the midpoint line, and adjust the longitudinal and transverse midpoint lines of the driving roller to coincide with the base centerline.
When adjusting the elevation of the driving roller, it is also necessary to consider leaving a certain margin for the adjustment of the elevation of the motor and the reducer. Since the connection between the motor and the reducer has been adjusted on the bracket when the device is manufactured, our task is to correct and level, and to ensure the coaxiality between the reducer and the drive roller.
During the adjustment, the driving roller is used as the reference. Because the connection between the reducer and the driving roller is a nylon rod elastic connection, the accuracy of the coaxiality can be appropriately relaxed. The radial adjustment is 0.2mm or less, and the end face is not greater than 2/1000.
(3) Installation of the tail wheel: The tail wheel is composed of a bracket and a drum, and the adjustment steps are the same as those of the driving drum.
(4) Installation of Outriggers, Intermediate Racks, Roller Brackets, and Rollers: Most of the belt conveyor legs are H-shaped, and their length and width vary according to the length and width of the belt and the amount of belt transport.
Below, we take a leg with a width of 1500mm as an example. The specific operation method is as follows:
① Measure the centerline in the width direction and mark it.
② Put the outriggers on the embedded plate on the foundation, and use a line to drop the vertical line so that the centerline in the width direction of the outriggers coincides with the centerline of the foundation.
③ Make a mark on any point on the basic centerline (generally within 1000mm), and use this mark as the base point. Use a box ruler to measure the distance from this point to the two legs. According to the principle of isosceles triangle, it can be known When the dimensions are the same, the legs are aligned.
④ Weld the legs firmly to install the intermediate frame. It is made of 10 or 12 channel steel. It is drilled with 12 or 16mm diameter row holes in the width direction of the channel steel. It is used to connect the roller support. The connection between the middle frame and the legs is welded. The level should be measured during installation to ensure the levelness and parallelism of the middle frame. The two channel steels in the direction of parallelism should be symmetrical with the diagonal measurement method. To ensure the smooth installation of the idler bracket and the upper self-aligning bracket.
⑤ Install the support roller bracket on the intermediate frame, connect with bolts, and install the support roller on the support roller bracket. It should be noted that the idler rollers under the blanking port are four groups of rubber idler rollers, which play the role of cushioning and damping.
⑥ Install the lower parallel idler and the lower self-aligning idler.
3. Installation of accessories and safety devices
Installation of accessories must be carried out with a belt on the stand. Accessories include material guide trough, empty section cleaner, head cleaner, anti-sway switch, chute, belt tensioner, etc.
(1) Chute and material guide
The chute is installed on the material outlet, and the lower part is connected with the material guide groove, and the material guide groove is installed on the upper end of the tail belt. The ore enters the chute from the blanking port, and then enters the guide trough through the chute. The guide trough distributes the ore in the center of the belt to prevent the ore from splashing.
The empty section cleaner is installed on the lower belt of the tail of the machine to play the role of cleaning the lower belt minerals. The head cleaner is installed on the lower part of the head roller to clean the upper belt of the materials.
(3) Tensioning device
The tensioning device is divided into spiral tensioning, vertical tensioning, horizontal car type tensioning and so on. The screw tension is integrated with the tail bracket, and consists of a nut and a screw. It is generally used for short belts. Vertical tensioning and cart tensioning are used for longer belts.
(4) Installation device
Safety devices include head guards, tail guards, pull rope switches, and more. The safety device is installed on the rotating part of the belt conveyor for protection.
After the operation of the above methods and steps, and to ensure a certain accuracy range, through empty load and load test run, and adjust the belt deviation, you can run smoothly and safely.
